WhatsApp disappears from Google Play Store

Some of the customers came up complaining on Friday regarding the disappearance of WhatsApp on the Google Play Store. The reason of disappearance of WhatsApp from the Google Play Store is yet not clear. WhatsApp for Business can be still seen available on WhatsApp. If you have previously installed the WhatsApp and by anyhow uninstalled it later for some issue, you will not find it again on Google Play Store, rather can be seen in the section of “Previously installed apps”.

San Francisco: In a bizarre-incident , Facebook owned Whats App seem to get disappear from the Google play Store, lately. “Users report that the Facebook owned instant chat messenger (Whats App) no longer is available on the Google Play Store”, which is quite astonishing.

This means that those who are purchasing new phones, or don’t have Whats App installed prior will no longer be able to download it on their mobile phones. However, if the Whats app was uninstalled for some time but was previously installed on your phone than you will be able to download it again from the section “Previously Installed Apps”.

This all clearly states that WhatsApp is not completely removed from the Google Play Store, or is not even blacklisted by Google, this may be temporary, the report added. The reason still stays a secret, but Whats app for business stay available on the play store, as spotted by WABetaInfo, a fan page of the website that keeps track on the Whats app updates.
