The way to form a government in Haryana has been cleared. Here BJP-JJP will form a government together. BJP president Amit Shah announced this after a meeting with Dushyant Chautala. Tomorrow the governor will be presented with a claim to form the government. However, who will be the deputy CM has not been announced yet. Dushyant Chautala’s name is being discussed.
Shah told reporters that with the mandate of voters in Haryana, both parties have decided that BJP and JJP will form government together. The Chief Minister will be from BJP while Deputy Chief Minister will be from JJP. He said that the alliance is in keeping with the spirit of the mandate.
Apart from Shah and Chautala, Khattar and other BJP leaders were present at the press conference. Chautala said that his party believed that an alliance was necessary for stability in Haryana.
Amit Shah said that the process of forming a government will be started after duly choosing a leader in the BJP on Saturday. For the next five years, work will be done for development under the leadership of Modiji.
At the same time, Dushyant Chautala said that he has come with BJP to form a permanent government in Haryana. At the same time, Manohar Lal Khattar said that for the betterment of Haryana, we have decided to form a government with the JJP.
Meeting at Shah’s house
Today, JJP chief Dushyant Chautala arrived in Delhi today along with the first Union Minister of State Anurag Thakur. After this, both the leaders reached BJP President Amit Shah’s house.
It is being told that JJP will also get the post of a Cabinet and Minister of State.
Earlier today, Amit Shah left his Ahmedabad tour midway and returned. He was met by JP Nadda and Haryana BJP President Subhash Barala. After this, Anurag Thakur took Dushyant Chautala to Amit Shah’s house. Here the alliance was stamped.
BJP stayed away from majority
On Thursday, the top leaders of the party became active after the BJP got 40 seats in the Haryana Assembly election counting. The BJP’s tally was reduced to six by a majority. Seven independents have also declared support for the BJP.
The BJP’s decision to bring Chautala into its fold underscores its desire to appease the Jats so that its government can run smoothly. The dominant Jat community in the state is believed to have voted against the BJP in the recent elections. This will also ensure that he does not have to depend on independents to remain in the government.
