The idea was born with the coming together of creative media, advertising & marketing professionals with a primary vision to remove the struggle and heartaches on the journey to success.
The Team endlessly endeavours to facilitate auditions online and connect casting agencies, casting directors and film production houses to the app users immediately and securely not once but multiple times right from the comfort of home.
It is a mobile app for both android & iOS. The target audience of FirstCut is the aspiring young talent that aims to make it big in the entertainment world. They can be actors, models, singers looking to get work in the industry. The Geographic Location of the venture is India.

FirstCut is a mobile App that facilitates auditions online and connects aspiring talents to casting agencies, directors & film production houses. It eliminates the initial struggle of finding the right auditions and waiting in long queues and enables the users to apply for an audition from anywhere saving them a lot of time, effort & money.
What differentiates FirstCut is different from other casting agents present in the industry is that we remove the various layers of middlemen involved in the casting of an actor, who most of the time, are driven by the commissions they receive from luring young talent rather than their actual placement. Founder of firstCut
The co-founder of FirstCut is Mr. Kunal Singhal. He is a CA by education but a developer by passion. He is also heading another IT company, Eazy Business Solutions which provides enterprise solutions to manufacturing companies. Kunal comes from a business family that runs a successful real estate business in Bhiwadi, Haryana.
Future prospect
Within a short span of time, the users base of FirstCut has increased to more than 1.20 lacs plus users from all over India. The founders have also recently launched FirstCut 2.0 and the premium subscription to monetize our app. The Premium subscription of FirstCut offers many features that will add value to their users like mentoring videos from renowned industry celebrities.
Right now, they have a popular TV actor, Manish Goel on board with them. They are also in talks with a few other celebrities to become mentors for their users in the coming months. They are aiming for a revenue of around 5 crores in the next 2 years as currently the startup is funded by friends and family.
