The dispute between Delhi Police and lawyers did not stop even on the fourth day. Now the Ministry of Home Affairs has filed a petition in the High Court on Tuesday, which sought to amend the court order of 3 November. The Ministry of Home Affairs says that this order should not be enforced on the incidents following violent clashes between the lawyer and the police in Tis Hazari Court on 2 November. The court ordered the Delhi Police not to take strict action against the lawyers.
On the petition of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the court issued notice to other organizations of lawyers including Bar Council of India (BCI). The matter will be heard on Wednesday.
Policemen demonstrated at Police Headquarters at ITO
Earlier, on Tuesday, policemen demonstrated at the ITO Police Headquarters in protest against the beatings in Saket and Tis Hazari courts. In the posters taken by the policemen, it was written that Kiran Bedi is needed here, not weak leadership. Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik appealed to the policemen to return to work and said that this is the exam time for us.
Your demands will be accepted: Joint Commissioner
Joint Commissioner of Delhi Police Devesh Srivastava said – All your demands will be accepted. An FIR will be registered against the accused in the Saket and Tis Hazari court case. No departmental action will be taken against all the employees involved in the demonstration.
2 FIR registered on the statement of policemen
Meanwhile, 2 FIRs have been registered in Saket court on the basis of statements of policemen in the case of assault. Meanwhile, the Bar Council of India has appealed to the protesting lawyers to return to work. The Bar Council asked that the lawyers who committed the felony be identified. There were clashes between police and lawyers on November 2 in Tis Hazari Court and on November 4 in Saket Court and Karkardooma Court. About 20 policemen and some lawyers were injured in this.

So be patient and go back to duty. “
Institute’s name getting spoiled due to the action of lawyers – BCI
Bar Council of India (BCI) President Manan Kumar Mishra said that lawyers should quit their protest and return to work. The name of the institute is being spoiled by such action. Those who taint the image of the institute should be removed. It is the tolerance and indolence of bar councils, which is promoting such lawyers. Incidents like assault on policemen is very unfortunate and we will not tolerate it.
Rijiju tweeted – Policeman being a thankless job
Rijiju tweeted in support of the police, but also deleted it shortly. He wrote – Police does not work because someone thanks them. This is a thankless job. If the policemen do this, they will be condemned. Even if they do not do so, there will be condemnation.
There was a dispute over parking in Tis Hazari, 2 lawyers were shot.
The dispute started after a police van and a lawyer’s car collided in the parking area of Tis Hazari Court. The lawyers tried to enter the lockup. This was followed by violent clashes and two lawyers were shot. 20 policemen were also injured. The Delhi High Court had directed the Commissioner of Police to conduct a judicial inquiry into the matter, suspend the guilty policemen and record the statements of the injured.
This has been observed many a times that people in the police department of many states behave in very in-human ways, it is the retaliation of all the crimes done by the police in the uniform which is coming in front of them now as assault on them. Common man and other citizens of the country have lost the faith on our police departments not just in Delhi but across the country.
Fake encounters, custodial deaths, lock-up tortures are common among police of almost every state of the country, not even this, policemen act like goons when on road, the arrogance level in police department right now is un-toleratable, police harassing people in the name of law and order, taking hafta (protection money) can be very commonly seen almost every where in our country.
It is their own deeds due to which police department of our country has lost almost all the respect among the common man of the country.
