One of the celebrity couples who are remembered for their extravagance Indian wedding is hand down Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas. The celebrity couple took the entire nation with astonishment when the two decided to get married. When the news of the wedding came out everyone was excited yet went crazy after the announcement of the wedding taking place in India. It made everyone go crazy because this was the first time ever that two megastars will get married in India in two different ways.
The paparazzi was enough to give everyone major FOMO. The extravagance wedding preparations made everyone feel like we should also be invited.
Priyanka and Nick tied the knot in twin ceremonies at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur in December last year. The two have been very considerate and respectful of each other’s culture and traditions. From celebrating each other festivals to cheering each other at the public events and concerts, PC & Nick have become one of the most loved couples on the internet giving everyone the primary couple goals.
Priyanka, in an interview, mentioned that it was her “ambition and drive” that made Nick fall for her. The Fashion actress said that the two have separate careers and they need to be dedicated to their jobs. It’s an understanding between the two that career comes first. Priyanka mentioned that the two come from “non-entitled” backgrounds that make them even more focused on their careers more than anything else.
The couple is now celebrating their first anniversary together, and the singer-actor Nick Jonas has revealed that he is working on something extra special to mark their first Anniversary. Nick explained that “We will be taking a few days away from the tour to have some time. It’sIt’s been a crazy year. It’s flown by, it’sits hard to believe it. John Varvatos was at our wedding, so he was there to be with us, and it was a great couple of days’ celebration. This year’s been, for she and I both, probably the craziest of our lives, but nice to have that centering grounding feeling with each other,” he added.
Priyanka Chopra’s brother Siddharth Chopra who is very close to both of them took his social media account to wish the couple on their first Anniversary. Siddharth posted a collage of the two wherein the first picture you can see their first-ever meeting at the MET Gala 2017 where the couple represented Ralph Lauren and the second is of their wedding in the same pose wearing Ralph Lauren.
Siddharth captioned the picture, “One year has come and gone so quickly and so smoothly. Wishing you guys a very happy anniversary and many more moments to be made on this beautiful journey together. Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who was shooting for her next project Netflix’sNetflix’s The White Tiger along with Rajkumar Rao, already gave her husband a fantastic anniversary gift. She surprised Nick with a German Shepherd puppy; Gino. The dog has an Instagram account, just like Priyanka’sPriyanka’s do Diana has one. They post pictures and videos of the two pup bonding together and having fun.
The love birds do not shy away from showing their love have been juggling with their work commitments and spending time together, but somehow PC always manages some way or the other to make the love of her life feel loved even more.
Priyanka also shares a great bond with brother Joe & Kevin Jonas and their respective wives Sophie and Danielle Jonas. The couple is at the Jonas Brothers Happiness Begins Tour. When Nick was asked about their distinctive careers, he mentioned that they don’t have a rule on whether how long we’ll not see each other, but we have the rule to communicate with each other every day. “The good news is that we both enjoy talking to each other, which I think is probably pretty important if you married somebody. There aren’t as many rules for, like, how long we can go and things like that. I think we – we’d always do the best we can and understand first and foremost we love what we do as well and support each other as well,” he said.
The duos have also mastered the art of communicating their feelings to each other and the world, and they keep sharing mushy pictures with captions on Instagram.
The couple had a Christian and a Hindu ceremony in Jodhpur’sJodhpur’s Umaid Bhawan Palace on December 1 and 2 2018. The dup later hosted receptions in Delhi and Mumbai. The couple wore customized Ralph Lauren couture for the Church wedding and Sabyasachi for their Hindu marriage.
On the work front, Priyanka was in The Sky is Pink alongside Farhan Akhtar, Rohit Saraf, and Zaria Wasim. The actress’s line up includes Netflix originals The White Tiger opposite Rajkumar Rao. She also has Netflix’sNetflix’s superhero film We Can Be Heroes and a movie with comedian Mindy Kaling in the pipeline. Priyanka also dubbed for a Disney movie “Frozen 2” along with Parineeti Chopra for the Hindi version of it.
Nick Jonas is all set to play World War II gunner Bruno P aido in Midway. He will also be in Jumanji: The Next Level.
