Modi said – ‘72-hour formula is necessary to slow down the corona spread, through which 10 states with more cases can reverse the situation’.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to the Chief Ministers of 10 states on the status of  the Coronavirus. He said, ‘It is helping to identify and prevent corona infection. The percentage of active cases has decreased. The recovery rate is steadily improving. This means that our efforts are working. The most important thing is that it has increased confidence and consciousness among the people as well, the atmosphere of fear has also decreased’.

He also said that ‘the goal that we have set to bring the death rate below 1% can be achieved even if we try a little. What we have to do next, how to grow. A lot of clarity has been reached between us and grass root level as well”.

Chief Ministers of Maharashtra, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat, Punjab, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka ere present in the meeting. This was Modi’s 7th meeting with states on Corona in 5 months.

The current state of Corona’s affairs was discussed in the meeting. In view of the situation, there can be talk on expanding the scope of unlock. 22.67 lakh cases of corona have been reported in the country and more than 45 thousand people have died. Unlock-3, which started last month, was given permission to open gym and health centers.

No new news was reported regarding the reopening of schools and colleges. It remains to be seen what the government’s next move will be to control the rapid spread of the virus. For the past week, India has been seeing a tremendous growth in the number of coronavirus cases daily. This has proven to be a serious of worry for many.

Coronavirus cases are on a constant rise in among cities. But the real concern is the increasing number of cases in rural areas. Only time will tell how these cases will be controlled in these areas.
