Another name has now been included in the list of government officials being infected by corona is the Union minister Arjun Meghwal. #Bhabhijipapad started trending on Twitter as soon as it was confirmed that he was corona positive. The whole controversy started when a few days ago, to avoid Corona, the Union Minister had advertised eating a special type of papad. This is the reason that as soon as they were infected, people started tweeting about bhabhiji papad on twitter.
Arjun Ram Meghwal is currently admitted to AIIMS in Delhi. Meghwal said that he was showing signs of corona and he got tested for it twice. The first report came negative, but in the second report he was found corona positive, after which he was admitted to the hospital. The Union Minister gave information about this by tweeting. However, he also said that he is in good health.
Arjun Ram Meghwal tweeted, “I got the test done after the initial symptoms of corona and after the first test was negative, the second test came positive today. My health is fine but I am admitted to AIIMS on medical advice. I request that those who have come in contact with me in the last few days, please take care of your health”. Another MP from Rajasthan and Union Minister Kailash Chaudhary has also been found to be Corona positive.
Meghwal had earlier received a lot of criticism for his endorsement of bhabhiji papad as a cure for corona. Now the people on twitter and instagram can’t be falted for asking him if he himself ate the papad or not.
