Sushant Singh Rajput case to be decided by the Supreme Court on the petition of her girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty. Rhea has said to transfer the FIR filed in Patna to Mumbai. The CBI said that ‘most of the things related to this case have taken place in Mumbai, so it does not come under the scrutiny area of Bihar Police. Let us and the ED investigate”.
Earlier, Bihar Police said that our SP Vinay Tiwari had reached Mumbai on 2nd August in connection to the case, but he was detained in the name of Quarantine. The Bihar police also alleged that the Mumbai police did not allow the 4-member Bihar SIT to conduct any investigation. Sushant’s father KK Singh lodged an FIR against Rhea in Patna. It was said that the actress incited Sushant to suicide.
“Cannot be stopped from investigation on the basis of jurisdiction” – Bihar Police
The Bihar police said that the Bihar IG had to appeal to the Mumbai officers to get Vinay Tiwari out of the quarantine. Bihar Police also said that it is necessary for any officer to first file an FIR and then investigate. After this, the report should be forwarded to the court. Section 156 (2) clearly states that no police officer can be stopped from investigation on the grounds that he does not come under this jurisdiction.

- Bihar government said – CBI will not allow any kind of obstruction in the investigation. The matter will be investigated in depth.
- Rhea said in her reply that the decision to hand over the Sushant case to the CBI has been taken on the recommendation of Bihar Police. It does not come under their jurisdiction to do so.
Mumbai Police investigation in the wrong direction: Sushant’s father’s lawyer
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court deferred hearing on the plea of advocate Ajay Aggarwal till August 21. In the petition, Sushant’s father had raised questions about handing over the case to the CBI. At the same time, Vikas Singh, advocate for Sushant’s father, said that the Mumbai Police is a very professional force. Talking about this case, due to some reasons, they went completely in the wrong direction. The apex court should direct the Mumbai Police to help the CBI.

Senior Mumbai lawyer, Ujjwal Nikam, said that “if the Supreme Court orders the transfer of the case filed in Patna to Mumbai on the petition of Rhea, then technically the CBI investigation would be deemed to be canceled”.
Sushant’s sister advocates CBI probe
Sushant’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti has posted a photo of herself on Instagram, in which she posed with a white board in her hand. It was written on this – “I am Shweta Singh Rajput, sister of Sushant Singh Rajput and I demand a CBI inquiry’.
Shweta wrote with this photo – “this is a time when we have to find truth and get justice. Help us and our family to bring out the truth, otherwise we will never live in peace. Raise your voice and demand a CBI inquiry for Sushant”.
The case is turning out to be much more complicated than anyone thought. The names of many prominent actors and politicians have been linked to this case. Many fans also feel that his suicide is very closely linked to that of his ex manager. Disha Salian. Disha had reportedly committed suicide only five days prior to Sushant. This has led many to speculate if the two cases were somehow linked. Other than this, bollywood celebrities Mahesh Bhatt and Sooraj Pancholi are being called out by fans as having a part in the whole thing. Only proper investigation will reveal who was involved and who wasn’t.
