- CBI interrogates Sushant’s friend, Helper and Cook, also questions staff at Water Stone Resort.
- CBI may send summons tomorrow for questioning of Rhea, family members can also be called.
In the Sushant case, the CBI questioned the actor’s flatmate Siddharth Pithani, helper Deepesh and cook Neeraj Singh on Monday for the third consecutive day. Apart from this, they also questioned Sushant’s CA Rajat Mewati. The CBI team also went to Water Stone Resort and took the statement of the staff there. Sushant stayed in this resort during the depression.
Cooper Hospital released the supplementary report
A team of CBI officers also went to the Cooper Hospital, where Sushant’s autopsy was done. The team questioned the autopsy doctors and asked why there was no time of death in this report. Sushant’s autopsy was completed on 15th June at Cooper Hospital. However, today the hospital released a supplementary post-mortem report, which states that the time of death was 10-12 hours before the post-mortem.
AIIMS forensic department will analyse the video related to the autopsy.
AIIMS forensic department has formed a team of 5 people, who will study the post-mortem report. Apart from this, videos related to the autopsy report have also been submitted by the CBI team. They will also be investigated. The team will check whether Sushant has been murdered.
Possible inquiries from Rhea and her family
The CBI investigating the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput can interrogate Rhea Chakraborty and his family members anytime. It is being told that the investigating agency can send summons to Rhea soon. Meanwhile, Vikas Singh, advocate for Sushant’s father, said, “The CBI will start question-and-answer to Rhea after completing her homework. If Rhea does not cooperate in the investigation, she could be arrested.”
Sushant’s flat owner Sanjay Lalwani was questioned by the CBI team on Sunday. He can be questioned once again.
Earlier Rhea’s lawyer stated that they have not received any summons yet but, will cooperate once they do receive it. Further investigation may reveal crucial information regarding the Sushant Singh suicide case.
