According to updated estimates for the fiscal year 2023, the amount allotted for household establishment in the previous budget—which was Rs 41.68 crore—has increased to Rs 46.27 crore.

The president’s salary and allowances will receive Rs. 60 lakhs of the total budgetary allotment, and the president’s secretariat will receive Rs. 53.32 crores, an increase from Rs. 37.93 crores in the previous budget to Rs. 53.32 crores, according to the budget document.

Sitharaman presented the Union Budget for 2023–2024 to the Parliament.

She listed seven priorities, which she referred to as “Saptarishi,” to lead the nation through Amrit Kaal, the 25-year journey leading up to its centennial as a modern nation.

The seven priorities are the financial sector, youth power, green growth, infrastructure and investment, unleashing potential, and inclusive development.

The Indian economy, according to the finance minister, is on the right track, and despite obstacles, the country is moving in the direction of a promising future.

In recent years, the Indian economy has faced several challenges, including slow growth, high inflation, and rising fiscal and trade deficits.

Despite these challenges, the government and the Reserve Bank of India have taken steps to address these issues and put the economy back on a sustainable growth path.

Whether or not these efforts will be successful remains to be seen, but many economists and policymakers are optimistic about the future of the Indian economy.

According to nominal GDP, the Indian economy is the fifth largest in the world, and third in terms of purchasing power parity.

It is distinguished by a mixed economic structure that includes both a sizable public sector and a growing private sector.

The Indian government presents an annual budget that outlines its revenue and expenditure plans for the upcoming fiscal year.

The budget typically includes proposals for tax changes, spending programs, and other measures aimed at boosting economic growth and addressing social and economic challenges.
