“We are determined to ensure that Vande Bharat trains cover all states by June. Our target is to connect 200 cities with the Vande Bharat Express by the middle of next year. The production work is proceeding at an accelerated pace to facilitate the implementation of this monumental project,” stated the Rail Minister.

In a significant development, the inaugural run of Goa’s first Vande Bharat Express will be flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday from Madgaon railway station. The Prime Minister will remotely participate in the flagging-off ceremony via video conferencing.

Additionally, the state-of-the-art Vande Bharat Express will enhance connectivity along the Mumbai-Goa route, ensuring swift and comfortable travel for the residents of the region.
