CCI Filed an Inquiry Against -commerce majors Flipkart and Amazon

Fair trade regulator CCI on Monday filed an inquiry against e-commerce majors Flipkart and Amazon for alleged violations, including deep discounting and tie-ups with approved sellers on their policies. The order follows a charge filed by Delhi Vyapar Mahasangh, whose members include many traders dealing in smartphones and similar accessories.

CAIT protest against the e-commerce companies, starting from November 13

The protest against the e-commerce companies continuous because of the anti-competitive practices and to join the race now, the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) has stepped out to fight with these companies including Flipkart, Amazon and other similar platforms. CAIT has launched a nationwide agitation against these companies as it is alleged that they are violating the law and the FDI policy. The claim of nationwide protest was claimed by trade leaders in the National Traders Conference which was held on Sunday in New Delhi and was organised bi CAIT. This nationwide protest will start from November 13 and will end on January 10, 2020
