New Zealand complete a memorable whitewash against India. The Kiwis have redeemed themselves after facing a T20I series against the Men in Blue. This is the first time in 31 years that India have faced such a whitewash. They have lost a bilateral ODI series of 3 or more matches for the first time since 1989.

After getting thoroughly beaten by New Zealand in the 1st encounter at Hamilton on Wednesday, India faces a do-or-die situation in the second ODI at Eden Park on Saturday. If the Men in Blue lose this match, the ODI series will belong to the Kiwis.

Centurion Ross Taylor said the left-right hand combination helped New Zealand in their run chase and also opined keeping India under 350 gave them a chance as they won by four wickets in the first ODI here on Wednesday.
