Ajay Devgan has introduced the characters of the police officer in different ways in his career. His police style in 'Gangajal' in 2003 and 'Singham' in 2011 have been well liked by the people. Singham's character got so much love that it was made a franchise. In a special conversation with Swarnim Times, Ajay himself made a difference between his two characters and the rest of the police characters in the industry.

Instead of doing their duty with public consent and participation, the police uses abuse and threats as a prime investigation and law enforcement methods. It seems that the police are hired to order and abuse people.
