The pilot-in-command of the IndiGo flight in which journalist Arnab Goswami was allegedly heckled by Kunal Kamra has told airline's management that he was "disheartened" to learn the carrier took action against the comedian without consulting him and solely on the basis of social media posts.

Stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra, who has been banned temporarily by several airlines, says he is sorry for "not being sorry".

Just a few hours after IndiGo and Air India suspended stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra, SpiceJet, too, went on to issue a statement suspending Kamra from flying with the airline until further notice. This comes after he allegedly heckled Republic TV editor and journalist Arnab Goswami aboard on a Mumbai-Lucknow plane.

Congress MP Shashi Tharoor on Tuesday reacted to a video shared by popular stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra. In the video, Kamra who bumped into Republic Editor Arnab Goswami on a flight on Tuesday, is seen giving a monologue about Arnab's ‘journalism’, while he has plugged his earphones and trying to not hear Kamra.
