The second is the desire to become a hero in the Vishnoi community, who put their lives on edge to protect wildlife, by killing Salman, trapped in a deer hunting episode 22 years ago in Jodhpur. This is the reason Lawrence is repeatedly plotting to kill Salman. Apart from this, he has neither personal enmity with Salman nor has he ever met Salman.
Lawrence’s connection to Jodhpur
Two and a half years ago, Lawrence tried to recover from some traders and opened fire outside his house to make Jodhpur his new destination. A businessman was shot and killed. In these cases, the Jodhpur police arrested him from Punjab and brought him to Jodhpur. Within a few days in jail, he got many local miscreants to join him. Seeing the expansion of Lawrence’s gang from jail itself, he was sent to Ajmer jail with high security. But his suspicious activities continued there too. In such a situation, he has been locked up in Bharatpur Jail for a long time. The strength and dominance of his gang in Rajasthan can be gauged from the fact that no jailer is easily ready to keep him in his prison.
Salman is Lawrence’s target on his quest to become a hero
This vicious gangster of ordinary stature took Salman as his next target just to be in the news. During his stay in Jodhpur jail, he got to hear stories of Salman Khan’s deer hunting case and his stay in this jail. After this, he took Salman as his target to become the leader of his Vishnoi community. He made this public announcement in a Jodhpur court sitting inside a police vehicle. In January 2018, he publicly stated that he would kill Salman Khan in Jodhpur. One of his sharp shooter Gurga was caught yesterday when he wanted to kill Salman. But this is not the first time. Even before this, a sharp shooter who has Reiki of Salman in Mumbai has been caught. Apart from this, Lawrence also conspired to kill Salman while appearing in court in Jodhpur, but the Jodhpur police is now providing more security to Salman than ever before.
Vishnoi community is famous for protecting wildlife;
The Vishnoi community of Rajasthan is famous for protecting the game environment and wildlife, even on their life. Lawrence himself belongs to this community. Vishnoi live in large numbers in the Jodhpur region. In such a situation, Lawrence has put Salman on his target to connect these people with him and become the hero of the society. Salman Khan had been involved in 1998 in the case of hunting deer at three different places in villages around Jodhpur. Because of this, there is deep resentment against Salman Khan in the Vishnoi community.
Lawrence is the leader of one of the most dangerous gangs in Punjab and Haryana and usually operates his gang from the jail itself. The gangster’s father Lavindra Kumar was a constable in the Punjab Police.
