The CBI, which arrived in Mumbai to investigate the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, has started its work. The CBI has detained a person for questioning on Friday. Who the person is, is not yet known. The Central Investigation Agency will today take documents of the Sushant’s case from the Mumbai Police. Sushant Sigh’s flat will also be investigated.
Earlier on Thursday, when the media questioned Rhea Chakraborty’s arrest, the CBI officer went ahead without saying anything. Rhea and her family will be questioned, but it is not clear whether the questions and answers will be available today. The meeting of the CBI team, which took place at the Airforce Transit Facility in Santa Cruz, is still going on.
The CBI will also take into consideration the findings of the money laundering being conducted by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), according to sources, the CBI team has 3 members each.
The First team: All documents such as case diary, photographs of crime scene, autopsy report, forensic report given by the Mumbai Police, post mortem report, and will bear the responsibility of collecting copies of witness statements.
The Second team: Rhea Chakraborty and the people associated with her family, Sushant’s former manager, and the people working at his house will be investigated. The statements of all those present on the day of Sushant’s death will also be questioned.
The Third team: These officers will check with the angle of the rivalry. They will also question Bollywood’s famous people and doctors who did the postmortem of Sushant’s body. The task of re-creating the scene of crime has also been given to this team.
The CBI investigation will be based on the FIR of Bihar Police. A case was registered in that FIR under sections of abetment to suicide, cheating, and conspiracy.
CBI will investigate based on these 6 points
1. Is Sushant Singh Rajput’s death a suicide or a murder? What was the reason?
2. Did Rhea, her family, people associated with Bollywood, and those working at Sushant’s house have any role in Sushant’s death?
3. Investigating money transactions, earnings, and allegations made by Sushant’s father.
4. Sushant’s illness, the theory of depression, and the claims of doctors will be investigated. Sushant’s father has also doubted the doctors.
5. To find out the truth of the postmortem report and match it with forensic report.
6. Investigation of call details and using electronic evidence will try to get to the bottom of the case.
This case has become much bigger than what it started as. Many speculate that at the end of the investigation many big names might be involved and linked to Sushant’s death.
