Many major branded packaged milk (raw milk) and raw milk samples have not met the prescribed quality and set standards. This has been revealed in the food regulator Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) study. Accordingly, 37.7 per cent of the 2607 samples of processed milk failed on quality standards.
