The film’s success reached new heights on Sunday as it raked in over ₹23 crore, setting a record for the highest single-day earnings. The film’s first-week earnings amounted to ₹81.14 crore, while the second weekend saw it collect an impressive ₹55.60 crore. The film’s second weekend earnings were ₹12.35 crore on Friday, ₹19.50 crore on Saturday, and a whopping ₹23.75 crore on Sunday, bringing its total earnings to ₹136.74 crore. Adarsh further described the movie’s performance as a “BLOCKBUSTER” and provided a breakdown of the earnings, highlighting that the film earned ₹81.14 crore in its first week and ₹55.60 crore in its second weekend.
“The Kerala Story”, which is produced by Vipul Shah, portrays the story of a few women from Kerala who were reportedly coerced into converting and recruited by ISIS. The film has faced controversy and polarized opinions, resulting in a ban in West Bengal.
